How to use these tools (1) Metal spudger opening tool
The metal pry tool is used to open the casing of your Zune. If done right, there should be little scratching on the Zune casing. Over time, we have found this method to be much more effective than that demonstrated in our video, where the fragile plastic pry tools are used. The plastic pry tools and guitar picks can aid in the separation of the casing, but not exclusively. (1) T4 screwdriver
Once inside your Microsoft Zune 80gb/120gb, there are T4 torx screws that will need to be removed in order to access various areas and remove certain parts. This tool is required for nearly every repair except a hard drive replacement. (1) Mini phillips screwdriver
The phillips screwdriver is is not used in the repair of this model but can come in handy for future repairs. (1) Mini suction cup
